Slack Integration

PlatOps AI can integrate with your Slack workspace, allowing you to interact with our AI assistant directly from your Slack channels.

Prerequisites

• A Slack workspace
• Permission to add apps to your Slack workspace

Connecting the Slack tool

Visit the Tools page and navigate to the Collaboration section. Click on the connect button for the Slack tool.

After clicking connect, you will be redirected to Slack's authorization page. Verify that you're connecting to the correct workspace and click "Allow" to authorize the integration.

Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to PlatOps with a confirmation message indicating the successful connection.

Using the Slack integration

Once connected, you can interact with the PlatOps AI assistant directly in your Slack workspace:

1. Invite the PlatOps Agent to any channel where you'd like to use it
2. Start a thread and mention the bot using @PlatOps Agent with your question or request
3. The bot will respond in the same thread

The Agent only responds to mentions within threads to keep conversations organized and reduce channel clutter.

The Slack integration gives you the same capabilities as the web interface
